Lynette Boyles is one of the owners of Kenlyn Kennels. She has worked with, trained, and exhibited dogs for over 30 years, including the German Shepherd Dog Club of America - Working Dog Association and a local Schutzhund club.

Kent Boyles is one of the owners of Kenlyn Kennels. He has worked with dogs for 40 years and is a professional dog handler, mostly for German Shepherd Dogs.

TRAINERS & DAY CARE STAFF

Christine Ponder has owned and trained dogs all her life.  Her father, returned home following WW2 with a German Shepherd puppy in his duffel bag. He became an Instructor at Milwaukee Dog Training Club (WI), where he met the fellow club member who would later become my mother.  Married in 1949, they established Prin-Sar Kennels in Mukwonago WI and continued to compete in AKC Obedience with German Shepherd Dogs, then later competed with Siberian Huskies in AKC Obedience and sled dog racing.  Christine was ‘born into’ a life dedicated to dogs!

Christine has 35 years of competing with her own dogs and teaching beginning, novice, and advanced level obedience classes. She has first-hand experience and success with more than a hundred different breeds and hundreds of dogs, from rescue dogs and mixed breed pets to purebred show and working prospects and from puppies to seniors.  She also works with training challenges, including disabled and limited mobility handlers, as well as troubled and reactive dogs.

Christine is also an approved AKC CGC Evaluator.

Cathy Cline has been training dogs and horses professionally since 2000. She has 3 collies, Angel, an older collie rescue "foster flunk", and loves to do agility and herding with her other two collies, Summer and Lacey. She has also fostered for many rescue groups , including - Minnesota Wisconsin Collie Rescue, Last Hope Collie Rescue, and Friends of Noah. She specializes in rehabbing dogs with chronic illnesses and working to socialize shy and timid dogs.

GROOMERS

Anita Hernandez has been around dogs, starting to attend dog shows and exhibit her own dogs at the age of 9. Her household is run by German Shepherds and English Bulldogs. Anita has been grooming all breeds of dogs for over 25 years, 20 of those at Kenlyn Kennels.

Cheryl Silha has been in the "dog biz" for over 35 years. She was the manager and Humane Officer for the Rock County Humane Society for 20 years.

She recently retired from operating her own pet motel.

Cheryl has been grooming professionally for over over 15 years and is experienced in grooming all breeds of both dogs and cats.

Cheryl currently has 2 Great Danes, Tanguery and Phin, but has also trained and shown both German Shepherd Dogs and Doberman Pinchers in the obedience ring.
